Kazakhstan Advances 304 MW Data Centre Development in Pavlodar

On 6 November, the Government reviewed construction of the first three Data Centre Valley facilities, with capacities of 68 MW, 164 MW and 72 MW. The first facility is scheduled for commissioning in Q2 2027, while excavation at the second facility is 70% complete. The project’s estimated annual export revenue is up to $3.1 billion, according to KPMG, and total investment over 20 years is estimated at $115 billion. This creates opportunities for cloud providers, AI infrastructure companies, cybersecurity firms and equipment suppliers; HPC can support technology sourcing and international digital infrastructure partnerships.
