Zambia Seeks Financing for Solar Home Systems and Clean-Cooking Expansion

The Rural Electrification Authority has invited expressions of interest from providers seeking access to a results-based financing facility for solar home systems and clean-cooking solutions, with the notice published on 28 October. The facility’s total funding allocation and individual award values were not disclosed. This creates opportunities for renewable-energy suppliers, carbon-project advisers and impact-investment consultants; HPC can assist with funding proposals and market-entry support.
