Safran Invests €136 Million in Malaysian Aerospace Manufacturing and MRO Facilities

On 28 October, Safran Landing Systems inaugurated the expansion of its carbon-brake manufacturing facility in Sendayan and a new maintenance, repair and overhaul centre in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. The Sendayan expansion represents an investment of €134 million and adds 7,000 square metres of manufacturing space, while the Nilai MRO centre represents a further €2 million investment. The expanded manufacturing site is expected to double carbon-brake disc production capacity by 2028.
